Fun fact time: Zan is a cameo from a dead version of this story. At it’s most embarrassing era during high school, I treated Dragon Sanctuary like an anime and it had seasons. Zan was a semi-main character from season 2. It was a very bad plot line that would have aged like raw chicken in a bag of milk on a hot day and on top of that, it was a ‘Kill Your Gays’ situation. So now he just gets to be a minor character and crush on Merno in peace without being murdered or incredibly problematic. Good for him.
