Man, I kinda get where the Queen is coming from… like, I get where Cris is coming from, too, since it’s probably pretty sacrilegious to them, but… Come on, people hunt to live. At a certain point, you can’t be that picky about it, and if Cris is going to let their ideals blind them to actual lives, I don’t think they’d make a very good ruler. I’d like it if the dwarves could do something else, but… it doesn’t seem they’ve got a whole lot of options.
Yeah! I was kinda trying to show that no one’s really in the wrong. Sometimes things just sit in a weird grey area. I am also glad that it’s coming through that this is bad behavior from Crisoul even if his thoughts/feelings are valid. He just literally only knows a culture built from near-immortals and doesn’t know what it means to need to survive. I wanted to show that being the cute dummy isn’t always cute especially compared to Dean who has been trying /very/ hard to learn and know things so he can understand people.
